Summer Convention: Karaoke in the Clouds
... and we had Fun, Fun, Fun 'til Lisa took the music awaaaaaayyyyyyy.
Sure, there was racing, roll-overs, raucous behavior and roiling clouds of dust, but in the end it boiled down to good friends, good food and good music.

Trail Jam Day 3 - Naches Trail
Day three was the Naches Trail and Skipper's turn to be skipper. Josie and I had business at Whistlin Jacks that morning so we left ahead of the flight planning to meet back up with them at the entrance to the Rabbit Holes.
Enroute, we saw a rag-horn bull and a cow elk in Lost Meadow, and then had to stop for a herd of about eight cows and calfs in the road. Unfortunately, they were gone before the participants got there.

Trail Jam Day 2 - Shoestring/Kaner
Friday was the KnuckleHead's day to take a flight to Shoestring/Kaner and I was pulling duty as trail leader. Skies were gray and a bit coolish. Again, we got out of the staging area right on time and headed up Highway 410 to Milk Creek where we aired-down before starting up the hill.

Trail Jam Day 1 - Rimrock
The KnuckleHeads had taken care to select an appropriately difficult, but scenic series of trails in the Rimrock area, including two trips to the area to insure we had a safe way down from the ridge. So we felt pretty confident starting out with a dozen strange rigs and possibly stranger drivers, leaving the staging area at Jim Sprick Park at 6:30.

In honor of those who fought for our liberty ... LIBERTY!
Just a coincidence? Memorial Day weekend, in honor of those fine men and women who have defended our freedoms, we went to Liberty.
I had a great time. Little carnage, mainly to Dick's Rubicon Limited ... bet he now knows why breakover angle is important ... HA! I hope his rig is alright. I think he just bent up the transfer case skid plate.
Only one breakdown ... SuperDave after we got back to the highway and were headed home ... serpentine belt (which he of course had a spare for).
