my roommate and friend for many years trevor bought my cherokee from me a few months back and has since then been wheelin with ralph and i and then again went on the the tree run with devon and i this last weekend. What he needs is a 44 for the rear as right now its got a 35 c clip that has had issues before and needs to be replaced. He does not care about gear ratio or locked or not, just wants the axle. any help would be great. thanks, Gage

Ford 8.8 will bolt right in.
Ford 8.8 will bolt right in. I think the spring perches are like 1 " closer together. An easy squeeze. $50-75 drive shaft adapter plate, make up some parking brake cables, brake lines and you're down the road. No the ABS system will not work. You should be able to pick up a drum brake 8.8 for around $100.00 and it's substantialy stronger than a 44
