Just when you thought it was alright to go back into the woods......How the heck is everyone doing?? Good I hope!! It's been a while......I have been through a lot the past couple of years. Been thinking about getting back into Jeepin for a while now. Cory, a sophmore in high school, is over 6 foot tall and Jayce is starting second grade, can you believe it?? I am trying to get a line on my old cursed Jeep....I sold it to a friend, anyone know someone who can remove a curse? Anyone know of any trail ready Jeeps for sale in the $5000 to $10,000 range? I am not lookin for anyone elses headach....if you remeber that's why I gave it up, I had like four runs in a row that I broke, I just needed a good run and couldn't get it!! The break that broke my spirit is when my steering column joint exploded at Evans Creek, I did appreciate everyones help getting me back up and running but that was it for me, I bet you guys probably have not seen a break like that since, just my luck I guess. I just hated putting a downer on the runs for everyone and it seemed like I was destined to break on every run no manner how much money I dumped into it trying to make it bullet proof. I plan on getting back into it slowly and hopefully with a Jeep that is not cursed. The thing that has kept Jeepin in my thoughts the most is I miss the club, hopefully things will work out and I will be seeing you all real soon if you will have me. This time around I hope to learn more about working on the Jeep myself.
Take care, Rick Boevers
(I don't think I was ever given a nick name, at least one that I was told about lol)

Hi and big break
Hi, nice too meet you. I am a new member for almost a year now.
As far as a big break, I think that would have to be Mr. Cleans break @ The holloween poker run last year. We all see breaks at some point or an other. Even my 2007 JK wranger Rubicon breaks.
Hope to see you on the trails soon,
Kat
Hey haven't heard from you
Hey haven't heard from you in a real long time. I'm no longer a knucklehead either but Thought I would check out the page for kicks to see what everyone was up to. I got a Good jeep for sale. It was my brother in laws and He can no longer have it due to some life changes. I was going to buy it. But have found that with my business and every thing else I just am not into it any more. At Least not in a jeep. I still like Elbe even though I did almost roll up there 2 months ago on the one and only hill. ( Figures ) It is a great Jeep and hardly ever brakes Down, Shoot me a call if you are interested $ 3800.00 He's asking more but was selling it to me for that. So a good friend gets the same price. You should shoot me a call even if your not interested so we can talk.. 253 537 3755

Steve, Steve, Steve....
My bad timing as usual, unfortunately I did not see your post until after I had picked up a Jeep, in fact it was just yesterday. I hope to have it on the trails very soon. Hopefully I will have better luck with this one as compared to my last. I'll give you a call!!
Take care, Rick.

Pfffffft!!!
Pffft!! ... My recollection is that we picked up your name from your cursed Jeep ... Maverick ... good to see you Rick.
You shouldn't worry about breaking, happens to everyone eventually. We had a run early this summer, pre-run for Jamboree at Rimrock actually, where half the people broke in the first half hour of the trail.
Amazing how quickly kids grow. Josie is in her second year at college, Rylie, while still a Junior in high school, is doing Running Start, so she is in college too.
As for Jeeps, I saw an ad the other day for a '98 TJ, 6-cylinder, 5-speed, for $8,000. Thought about going to look at it for Josie ... if it had a D44 in the rear it would be good. I'll keep an eye out for you, but if it looks too good, I may have to get it.
